Eastern Province rugby has confirmed the promotion-relegation playoff dates between the Southern Kings and the Lions for the right to play Super Rugby next year.
The Kings will host the Lions at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday evening 26 July with the second leg at Ellis Park on Friday 2 August.
EPRU President Cheeky Watson has also refuted rumours doing the rounds on social media that the Kings and the Lions are in negotiations behind closed doors over the promotion relegation games. He says nothing of the sort has happened.
Meanwhile, Southern Kings captain Andries Strauss says their focus for now is very much on Saturday's clash with the Stormers at the NMB Stadium.
