Jake places a call to Luke Watson

EP Kings captain Luke Watson says he's had a casual chat with Sharks head coach Jake White about his injury status and that the World Cup winning coach will assess him again in the New Year.

Watson broke his foot earier this year and had surgery to insert six screws and a metal plate.
He's hoping to start jogging again soon and reckons he should be good to go by February or March.

Watson says any association with the Sharks would only be for Super Rugby as he's always stated his desire to play in that competion again.

"The Kings is my number one focus right now and will be for the forseeable future, so to talk about ands ifs and buts a couple of months from now is difficult," he said. "I can 100% commit to the fact that the Kings is my primary focus.  Jake has obviously just come on board at the Sharks and is having a look at his options to create depth in his squad, so I'm not really thinking about it too much at the moment. If its the whole tackle bags and things like that I reckon I'd be of more benifit right here in Port Elizabeth."
