Eastern Province Cricket President Donovan May believes Colin Ingram is the right man for the job in leading the Chevrolet Warriors into a new era.
The Directors of Cricket Eastern Cape have announced that Davy Jacobs is stepping aside after six years as captain and that Ingram will lead the Warriors in the 2014/15 season.
May said Jacobs had delivered a massive contribution as captain and that he was pleased to see he was staying on with the team.
May is confident that Ingram will deliver the goods as Warriors captain and that it could also inspire him to win back his national contract with Cricket South Africa.
