Eastern Province Rugby says it has secured one of the biggest sponsorships in the sport's history.
EP Rugby president, Cheeky Watson told Algoa FM Sport that the sponsorship would result in the signing of big names for the EP Kings' return to Super Rugby next year...
"I think we are heading into exciting times. It has taken a long time where we battled for about 6-9 years without a title sponsor. We are on the verge of concluding one of the biggest sponsors in South African Rugby, which will enable us to get some serious big names and really bolster the franchise"
The Kings get thing rolling on Friday evening, when they play a pre-season friendly against the Blue Bulls at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Kick-off is at 7pm.
