Equatorial Guinea reached the quarterfinals of the 2015 Africa Nations Cup, after beating Gabon 2 - nil in Bata on Sunday.

In Group A's other fixture,  Congo secured a 2 -1 win over Burkina Faso - meaning Congo and Equatorial Guinea go through to the next round.

Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana defender Thulani Hlatshwayo has been ruled out of the crucial final Group C clash against Ghana.

South Africa and the Black Stars go into battle in Mongomo on Tuesday evening.

Kick-off is at 8pm (SA time).
