The Chevrolet Warriors won their first 4-day Sunfoil series match of the season at Buffalo Park in East London, when they
dismissed the Dolphins for 316 on the final day to win by 109 runs.
Opening bowler Andrew Birch was the chief architect in their victory as he claimed four for 86, and there were also two wickets apiece for Basheer Walters, Jon-Jon Smuts and Aya Gqamane
The Warriors' best weekend of the season was also marked by captain Colin Ingram's 131 not out in their first innings 458 for 6 declared - from which point they were always in control of the match
