The Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon has received a welcome boost as it prepares for its 32nd edition in Cradock on the 27th and 28th of September.
South African Breweries announced at the media launch yesterday that Hansa would continue as title sponsor through to 2016.
In attendance was Cradock local Greg Louw who teams up with the legendary Len Jenkins this year.
However, he feels triple champions Grant van der Walt and Hank McGregor still start as favourites.
"Hank and Grant will definitely be the boat to beat. But, Andy Birkett and Cam Schoeman and the international will be very, very strong," he said.
