The EP boys and girls under 18 waterpolo teams are returning home from a highly successful week at the SA National Waterpolo Championships in Durban.
The EP boys won the title for the first time in their history on Sunday, beating arch rival Western Province 14-11 in the final.
They lost to Province in the group stages but avenged that loss with a first-ever victory over the Western Cape outfit in a final.
The EP girls had to settle for silver, but still put in a great performance in losing 6-5 to Western Province in the championship match - after trailing 6-1 at one stage.
