Former Sharks and EP Kings playmaker Monty du Mond was the man of the moment, slotting a difficult penalty from the ten yard line in the final minute to send coach Adri Geldenhuy's men into raputures.
Du Mond was successful with four out of five kicks at goal in the final as his team enjoyed 62% of the possession stats.
Another Desptach player Giovano Fourie was named player of the tournament.
