Rafael Nadal claimed his ninth French Open title on Sunday when he beat world number two, Novak Djokovic, 3-6 .. 7-5 .. 6-2 and 6-4.

The World Number One became the first person to win five titles at Roland Gaross in succession.

On Saturday:
Maria Sharapova claimed her second French Open Title following a marathon encounter with Romanian 4th seed Simone Halep.

Sharapova told journalists after the three-set epic that if somebody had told her she would win another title at Roland Garos, she would probably go get drunk.

It was Sharapova's 5th grand slam win.
