Eastern Province dominated the Hurley SA Junior Surfing Championships in their home surf at Jeffreys Bay at the weekend, clinching the coveted Freedom Cup team trophy for the first time in the 16 year history of the event.
EP also earned three of the six SA individual titles and three of the five special awards on offer.
EP's Matt McGillivray won every heat on his way to the SA U15 boys' title and was also crowned the Hurley Surfer of the Contest.
J-Bay local Gina Smith was crowned the SA U17 girls champion ahead of Inge McLaren of Border and EP team mate Tahra Uren.
The U15 girls' final went to Crystal Hulett - also of Eastern Province.
