The EP Kings have lost their inspirational captain Luke Watson for the rest of the season after he broke an ankle in Friday night's 50-points to 20 win over the Leopards in their Absa Currie Cup first division semi-final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Luke is due to see a specialist today but his season is done and he'll miss this Friday's final at home to the Pumas as well as the two-legged promotion relegation playoffs which follow.
The Pumas qualified for the final with a hard-fought 37-30 win over the Griffons in Nelspruit.
