The EP Kings have lost a number of their key players due to injury following Saturday's 19-13 loss to Western Province in a Vodacom Cup Clash at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The King's 3rd match of the campaign will be one to forget after centre and captain Shane Gates suffered ankle ligament damage that will keep him out for at least six weeks.
Prop Charles Marais is also out for 6 weeks with a knee ligament injury.
Flyhalf George Whitehead suffered an ankle tendon injury and will be out for an estimated 2 weeks.
Fullback Sylvian Mahuza has a hamstring strain and has been ruled out for two to four weeks.
There was some good news for the Kings ahead of this weekend's clash with Free State in Bloemtontein as flyhalves Tony Jantjies and Gary van Aswegen and loose forward Luke Watson were all back at training on Monday afternoon.
