16-year-old Dylan Raubenheimer has won the 36-hole qualifier at the Sanlam SA Amateur Championship at Mowbray Golf Club in Cape Town.
The Somerset West teenager shot a flawless second round of 65 for a 36-hole total of ten under par and a one shot victory over SA number one Brandon Stone and top English amateur Toby Tree.
The top 64 from the strokeplay now move into the matchplay stages.
Top Port Elizabeth amateur Ray Taverner comfortably booked his spot in the matchplay- tieing for 25th spot on a two under par total of 142 after rounds of 72 and 70.
Shaun Smith of Fancourt, Matthew Sutherland and Breyton Meyer of George Golf Club, Jade Buitendag of East London Golf Club and Morten Bredahl of Knysa also booked their place in this morning's first round of the matchplay.
