EP Rugby Union President Cheeky Watson has issued a 'no comment' statement in connection with the pay crisis at the EP Kings.
The players have not yet received their end-of-August salary and as a result, have not practiced since Tuesday.
Its the second straight month that the Kings have not been paid on time and it is putting Saturday's Currie Cup clash with the Lions in Johannesburg in jeopardy.
A meeting between the players and the SA Rugby Player's Association will now only take place on Thursday afternoon after being rescheduled because Wednesday was the players' official off day .
Watson had previously stated that he was days away from securing the biggest sponsorship in the history of South African Rugby and that the money had already landed in the country.
