Blow for Bay Stars title hopes

The Nelson Mandela Bay Vodacom League derby between Bay Stars and Highbury ends in a goalless draw at the Gelvandale Stadium at the weekend.

It was a costly draw for Bay Stars who are now out of the running for league honours with two matches of the season remaining. 

East London-based FC Tornado consolidated their grip on the league with a crucial 2-1 win over Mighty Greens at Lady Grey.

Tornado now have an unassailable 7-point lead over Bay Stars at the summit.
