The 2012 Open Champion, Ernie Els, is the latest star to confirm his entry into the season-opening Volvo Golf Champions at Durban Country Club from the 10th to the 13th of January 2013.
Els and Retief Goosen lost in a playoff at this year's Volvo Champions at Fancourt to local hero Branden Grace.
Grace will be back to defend his title and Goosen and Louis Oosthuizen have also confirmed their entry.
Els won the last of his SA Open titles at Durban Country Club in 2010 and said it would be a perfect venue to kick-start his year in front of his home fans.
