Big-hitting lefty Bubba Watson captured his second Masters title in three years on Sunday, pulling away from 20 year-old Jordan Spieth on the back nine for a three-stroke victory at Augusta National.
The 35-year-old American fired a final round of three-under par 69 for an eight-under par total of 280 to take his second major title, $1.62 million in prize money and of course the coveted green jacket.
Spieth with a final round of even par 72 and Sweden's Jonas Blixt with a 71 shared second on 283 with 50-year-old Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez fourth on 284.
Louis Oosthuizen was the only South African to make the cut and he finished in 25th place on 3-over par 291 after a final round of 72.
On the Sunshine Tour: Pint-sized Jbe Kruger shot a final round 66 for an 18-under par total and a one-shot victory over Jacques Blaauw in the 1.8 million rand Zimbabwe Open at Royal Harare golf club.
Kruger also won the Zimbabwe Open in 2010.
Third round leader Haydn Porteous, gritted his way to a one-over 73 for third place on his own at 16-under par.
