The retired chief justice, Sandile Ngcobo, has presented his report into the probe into the Phala Phala scandal swirling around President Cyril Ramaphosa, to the Speaker of the National Assembly.
And, according to Speaker, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, the ceremonial handover of the Report of the Section 89 Independent Panel, marks a milestone in the country's maturing constitutional democracy.
The Speaker appointed the independent panel following a motion by the African Transformation Movement to initiate an inquiry into the removal of the President on specific charges.
Ramaphosa remains under a cloud after criminal charges were laid against him related to the break-in and theft at his game farm.
Mapisa-Nqakula, says the Panel report will be debated by MPs on the 6th of next month.
She says the House will consider the report and its findings, and recommendations and adopt a resolution through a simple majority vote.
The report will be discussed on the 6th of December.
The EFF has been very vocal about the Phala Phala scandal calling on President Ramaphosa to step aside.
