President Jacob Zuma will hand over brand new schools to villages in Libode and Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.
The President will be accompanied by the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga.
The schools, Mpati-swa Senior Primary School in Libode and Dakhile Junior Secondary School in Lusikisiki, are part of the first batch of 49 mud schools that will be replaced as part of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative.
A total of R8.2b has been budgeted for the school replacement program.
