Eastern Cape Human Settlements MEC, Helen Sauls-August will unveil a youth build programme in Kirkwood on Sunday that will train 150 unemployed youths in building skills.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison, Lwandile Sicwetsha says the MEC will also lay bricks as part of the building of 100 homes in the area.
Sicwetsha says the project is a contribution by the department to youth month celebrations, and employs 150 youths who will be placed at the Moses Mabida housing project to complete the 100 houses.
