Youth arrested in Great Brak River for murder of school boy

Great Brak police have arrested a school boy for allegedly stabbing another school boy to death on a school bus on Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, identified the victim as 15-year-old Joseph Isaacs, a learner at Great Brak High School.
He died while en route to hospital.
Pojie says preliminary police investigation indicates that Isaacs boarded the school bus that was travelling from Jonkersberg to the school in Great Brak River at about 6:45 on Thursday morning.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the 15-years old suspect who was pointed out by witnesses. The suspect‘s assessment by social workers will be conducted later today. He will remain in custody at Great Brak River Saps and is scheduled to appear in the Mossel Bay magistrates’ court on Tuesday, 22 April 2014 on a charge of murder.
