Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal accident, involving three vehicles on Friday night.
Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says a Kia Cerato, Ford Figo and Mini Cooper crashed just after 9 pm on the Kragga Kamma Road near Brymore.
He says according to eyewitnesses, the mini Cooper overtook both cars at a high speed when he crashed into both.
The drivers from all three vehicles were taken to hospital but one sadly died from her injuries.
She was identified as the 19-year-old Andria Trutter from Port Elizabeth.
