The bodies of a young couple were found in a house in George on Friday morning.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Chris Spies, said that the circumstances surrounding the death of the man, believed to be in his 30s, and the woman, believed to be in her late 20s, are still under investigation.
He said a colleague of the woman went to the residence after she did not show up at work.
Spies said that she discovered the bodies and alerted emergency services.
He said the bodies were found in the bedroom with gunshot wounds.
