Gqeberha police are investigating the murder of a man in Korsten on Saturday, and the wounding of another person.
Police captain, Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said the shooting occurred on the corners of Cottrell and Essex Streets at around 10.45 in the morning.
She said when police arrived on the scene they found a male in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds, while a second person also sustained multiple gunshot wounds, but survived.
Janse Van Rensburg said it's alleged that two men walked past their vehicle and opened fire.
She said the name and nationality of the deceased will be released pending formal identification.

On Friday, well-known Gqeberha human rights and anti-crime activist, Pamela Mabini was shot and killed in Kwazakhele.
The 46-year-old was found inside her white Chevrolet bakkie with multiple gunshot wounds.
