The wool market was slightly weaker at this week's sale as demand conditions remain tough.
Cape Wools says its Merino indicator shed 0.8% compared with last week to close at R88.09 p/kg for clean wool.
Spokesperson, Ona Viljoen, says this was in line with the Australian market where the indicator was also down.
She says 99% of the total of 5 697 bales on offer was sold.
Approximately 8 500 bales will be on offer at the next sale.
