Woman killed in head-on collision near Nanaga

A 50-year-old woman was killed following an accident on the N2 near Nanaga on Saturday morning.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli says police responded to an accident scene outside Kinkelbos just after 8 am where a truck and Toyota Avanza collided head-on.

He says the 50-year-old woman in the Avanza died on the scene.

A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.

The victim's name is being withheld until her next of kin have been informed.
