Woman killed in Gqeberha crash

Gqeberha police are investigating a culpable homicide after one person was killed and four injured in an accident on the M4 freeway near Deal Party.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the driver of a VW Polo lost control of the vehicle which collided with the concrete barrier on Saturday.

A woman, about 29 years old, died on the scene, while the other passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.

Her name has not yet been released.
