A double-decker bus has hit a kudu on N6 about 30 kilometres outside Queenstown on the way to Jamestown.
There is one confirmed fatality with several other passengers suffering slight injuries.
Provincial Traffic Department Deputy Director General Charles Bramwell says the woman who was killed was trapped underneath the bus when it fell on its side during the collision.
Bramwell said the injured have been admitted to hospitals in the area.
Emergency crews have moved the buss off the N6 and the road is open to traffic.
