The Pietermaritzburg High Court has ordered a woman to remove defamatory comments about her ex-boyfriend and father of her child from her Facebook page.
The Star reported on Monday that the woman has also been ordered to pay legal costs.
The father, a Durban businessman, secured a final interdict against the woman after comments she made about him on the social networking site, following an allegation that he had gone out partying while their five-year-old daughter was in his care.
Even though the woman never specifically named him, the reference to her "ex" had identified him.
