A 24-year-old woman made a briefing appearance in court in Gqeberha on Monday in connection with the fire that engulfed a passenger bus earlier this month.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said Yamkela Mahobe, faces a charge of malicious damage to property.
She was arrested in Willowvale last week after police received a tip that she was at her mother's house.
Mahobe was wanted by the police after a blaze destroyed an Eagle Liner coach, causing damage estimated at R3.2 million.
Police said at the time that she was apparently involved in a dispute with the company over a cell phone.
Naidu said Mahobe will be back in the dock again on Tuesday.
