A woman from Willowvale in the Eastern Cape who had been attacked in her home earlier this month, has died of her injuries.
Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, has confirmed that 37-year-old Carmen Manthe, died in hospital on Monday morning.
She had suffered serious head injuries after being attacked in the shower and had been in a coma since the incident.
Manatha says a case of murder is now being investigated.
Police are still searching for the three suspects.
