The 42 -year-old Zimkhitha Tetyana appeared briefly in the Dutywa Magistrate's court on Monday in connection with the murder of her husband.
Fifty seven year-old Mlamli Tetyana was stabbed to death at his home last Thursday. At the time of his death, his wife claimed to have found him murdered in his bedroom. She told police she was preparing dinner when she found her Dutywa Police Detectives made a breakthrough in the case the next day when they formally arrested his wife.Two young male suspects, 22 year-old Yandisa Tonci and 25 year old Lwando Ramba were subsequently arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning.
They were not asked to plead at Monday's court proceedings and the matter was postponed to Friday for a formal bail application. All three accused remain in custody.
