Water supply to at least two affected areas in Port Elizabeth has been restored.
Metro spokesperson, Kupido Baron says water supply to Mangold Park and Newton Park was restored on Saturday, after water was pumped from other reservoirs.
He says work on repairing two broken pipes on a major feeder line at Van Stadens River mouth is going according to plan.
Baron says Senior Municipal Officials will visit the site on Sunday for a further assesment.
