The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says water supply to several areas of Port Elizabeth should be restored after 8pm Tuesday.
Municipality spokesperson, Kupido Baron, says work is progressing well to restore water supply to Summerstrand, Walmer, Humewood and Humerail.
This, after a contractor damaged a 525 mm diameter steel water pipe at the Port Elizabeth International Airport on Monday.
Baron says four water tankers have been deployed to the affected areas.
These are situated at * First Avenue Spar - Walmer
*Main Road Spar - Walmer
*PicknPay area in Heugh Road -
*Engen Garage at Airport.
