The major storage dams supplying Nelson Mandela Bay were at a combined 76.60 percent of capacity, when the latest reading was taken on Monday.
This was down from 77.38% a week earlier.
The largest storage dam, the Kouga was at 83% of capacity, down from 83.8% on September 15, while the second largest, the Impofu was at 73.5% - having dropped from 74.2% a week earlier.
The Churchill Dam was at 58.5%, the Groendal remained at 98.40% and the Loerie had dropped from 47.5- 43.95 percent.
The municipality is set to impose water restrictions from Wednesday next week, but without the accompanying punitive tariffs.
This follows a warning issued by the Department of Water and Sanitation that the metro faces another drought in 2015.
