Water flows in EC village where bus crash victims perished

The humanitarian organization, Gift of the Givers, struck liquid gold in Cebe village near Centane in the Eastern Cape where 26 people recently perished in a horror bus accident.

Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Mabuyane, Cebe Tribal Chief Tiyali and GOG founder, Dr. Imtiaaz Sooliman, were on hand on Friday to witness the successful drilling of the first borehole in that area.

This was one of the commitments the organization recently made in its response and assistance to the families of those who died in the bus tragedy.

All the deceased were laid to rest on Friday during a mass funeral attending by more than two thousand mourners which included both provincial and national government ministers.

On Saturday, Gift of the Givers, under the guidance of geologist Dr Gedeon Groenewald, continued drilling a borehole at the Tolofefe Hospital where most of the more than 60 surviving crash victims were being hospitalized.
