Storms River police have arrested a second suspect for the murder of local resident, 59-year-old Ina Marincowitz.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Basil Seekoei, says the 32-year-old man was handed over to police on Tuesday night by a motorist who gave him a lift but also recognised him as the wanted suspect.
A 33-year-old man from the Storms River area is also under police guard in hospital after being injured when Marincowitz's stolen car overturned on the N-2 on Monday night.
He says after being place in custody the suspect was taken to hospital in Kareedouw for treatement for injuries sustained in the crash.
He will appear in court on Thursday.
Seekoei says police want to thank the public for their assistance in the matter.
