Detectives in Port Alfred are looking for a man who allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend earlier this month.
Police Spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said the 45-year-old Eric Meyers, aka Ntroko, allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend several times and injured his 9-year-old son.
The victim died on the scene.
Govender says several eyewitnesses and close relatives identified him as the suspect and he is considered armed and dangerous.
She said there were rumours in the community that Meyers had committed suicide but no such reports have been received by authorities.
Meyers is 1.85m tall, fair in complexion and slender built.
