The George K-9 unit came to the rescue of an elderly British tourist who went missing on the grounds of a guest farm near Victoria Bay.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says rescue dog Vino helped track down the 76-year-old woman who had fallen into a ditch in a bushy area on the farm.
He says the woman had been traumatised after having spent nearly 24 hours in the ditch after going missing on Wednesday night.
Pojie says she was taken to hospital for treatment.
