Tributes are pouring in for a local rugby coach in Mossel Bay who died on Thursday in a head-on collision on the N2.
Lesley London, 39, was on his way to deliver bread to a school when the collision happened near the Vleesbaai turnoff with the driver of a Ford Ranger bakkie.
He was a well-known face in sports circles in Mossel Bay and was an assistant coach at the Barbarians rugby team.
London collided head-on with 35-year-old Samuel (Seun) Smit from Albertinia who was driving his employer's vehicle.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp says both men were declared dead on the scene.
Smit leaves behind his wife Ria and five children.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
