Police in Despatch have identified the victims in Tuesday's murder-suicide that took place in Windsor Park.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says 65-year-old Michael de Kock allegedly shot his 39-year-old wife Chantelle Redgard outside their home in Engelbrecht street before returning to his home and shooting himself.
She says a case of murder and an inquest are under investigation.
Captain Swart says the circumstances surrounding the incident are sensitive and no further information will be divulged.
It is alleged that Redgard was shot several times, but police declined to comment.
