Police in George have identified the three men who died in an accident on the Kleinplaas dirt road on Saturday.
Spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says the victims were identified as the 18-year-old Rizire Slotto, the 30-year-old Jerome Minnies and the 45-year-old Samuel Williams who drove the vehicle.
The men were all from Fremersheim.
The men were on their way to the rural area where they were supposed to attend their grandmother's 60th birthday.
Pojie says whilst travelling on the dirt road, the driver lost control of his bakkie, overturned and rolled down a steep cliff.
All three men were declared dead on the scene.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
