Port Elizabeth police, together with a private security company, have arrested three house robbery suspects in Rowallan Park.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu says it is alleged that an 18-year-old woman was watching TV at her home in Summerstrand early on Saturday night when she was accosted by an unknown man.
She says her tenant was also in the house, but was asleep throughout the incident.
The suspect took out a knife and threatened her, before she was tied up and locked in a room while the house was ransacked.
Several TV's, an iPad, a cellphone , other household items and her Hyundai vehicle were taken.
The vehicle was fitted with a tracking device and was found abandoned by members of the K-9 unit in Kabega Park, but it was established that the car was parked at a house in Rowallan Park for about 10 minutes.
Colonel Naidu says the outbuilding of the house was searched and three men, aged between 20 and 37 were arrested after police found all the stolen property inside.
The suspects will appear in court soon.
