Johannesburg High Court judge, Phineas Mojapelo, says that the suspension of Cosatu secretary-general, Zwelinzima Vavi was invalid.
His suspension was set aside this morning, after judge Mojapelo reserved judgment last week.
Vavi was not in court this morning, because he rushed to Queenstown on Thursday after his eldest daughter Phumeza was involved in an accident on Wednesday night.
Seven people were killed and ten others injured when a minibus taxi collided head-on with a bakkie on the road between Queenstown and Cofinvaba.
In a Twitter message, Vavi thanked his supporters for the well wishes, saying that his daughter's lucky to have escaped with head injuries.
Vavi's wife was in court this morning on his behalf.
