Port Elizabeth police have arrested three suspects for the possession of stolen property from an unused school in Govan Mbeki Township.
Warrant officer, Dumile Gwavu, says these incidents of alleged theft started over the weekend.
Gwavu says police confiscated one truck and two bakkies containing bricks and other items.
He says police have informed The Department of Public Works of these incidents and it is up to the department to arrange security for that particular building.
Reports indicate that the theft taking place at the building is continuing, and that its literally being carried away brick by brick.
