Detectives from Despatch are urgently trying to identify a murder victim whose body was found in Azaleapark on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says the body of a woman was discovered by a community member who was walking in the bushes close to Cyclamen Street.
The victim was fully dressed but sustained a severe open wound to her face.
The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage.
The victim was wearing a black jacket, pants and shoes.
