Uitenhage police still searching for missing couple

Uitenhage police are still searching for a young couple from the town, who have been missing since Friday morning.

Twenty-two year-old Gareth Muller and his 22-year-old wife, Jo-Anne, were supposed to view a flat on Friday, but haven't been seen since.

They disappeared in a grey Volkswagen Golf.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says it has emerged that the couple sold the vehicle, which does not belong to them, to a man who lives in the town.

They took the money, in cash, and haven't been seen since.
