A 29-year-old Uitenhage mother has been given a new lease on life after suffering a kidney failure 8-years-ago.
Cally Williams felt as though her life was over when she was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2011 when she was only 21.
However, Williams, who has been on the waiting list for four years, finally received her kidney last month.
The single mother says her situation put her on the brink of depression as she had to go for dialysis three times a week.
She says the kidney transplant saved her life.
"I feel amazing and am so thankful to God for blessing me with this amazing gift"
Williams says when she was on dialysis she was tired and drained all the time but now has more energy than ever before.
