Uitenhage man sentenced for purchasing stolen goods

A Uitenhage man has been sentenced in the town's regional court for purchasing stolen goods.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Gerda Swart says 32-year old Don Milden-Hall pleaded guilty to buying stolen property in 2013.
Swart says the Ipad was traced to his residence and when police arrived at his home he was found burning the device
The pawn shop owner was sentenced on Monday to pay a fine of R80 000 and 2 years imprisonment of which R40 000 and one year is suspended for 5 years on a charge of money laundering.
On a second charge of defeating the ends of justice, Milden-Hall was sentenced to pay a R20 000 fine and 6 months imprisonment suspended for 5 years.
